Selected Song Demos

The following demos were composed/orchestrated by Dan and/or Tom. They were created to be used in the production Whip, Hammer and Cross, which has now become "The Crossing." These songs may not be reproduced without permission.

  • Our Hope (MP3, 3.7 Mb)

      • This is supposed to be the sorrowful feeling of Mary at the death of her son. It is sad, but has hope, nonetheless.

  • Forgiveness (MP3, 1.8 Mb)

      • An 80% complete demo orchestration. When played live, this is the music underscoring the scene of Jesus talking with the Adulterous woman.

  • His Love Endures Forever (MP3, 1.8 Mb)

      • A demo orchestration. When played live, this is the music underscoring the end of the Last Supper.

  • Jesus Is Alive (MP3, 0.8 Mb)

      • This was orchestrated as a possible finale piece for WHC, but wasn't used.

  • Give Thanks to the Lord (MP3, 1.0 Mb)

      • This recording, made in Dan's hallway, was created as the "hymn" that the 12 disciples might have sang after the Last Supper. It is based on a Psalm (93, I think).
